Harvest!This is a featured page

I thought it would be helpful so that I could compare year to year how much I am able to harvest. Of course next year I will harvest more because I will plant more, but on a veg/fruit per plant basis, how can I make it better. I don't know how faithful I will be to keeping this page up to date as occasionally picking a few cherry tomatoes may be missed, however, in the changes in my life I am making to become more green it will help to see how I compare next year to this year.

Date Plant Quantity Notes
20-Jul-08 Strawberries 3 One was a little too ripe, the other two perfect, this shows I will need to pay attention on a regular basis so as to catch them at the right time.
29-Jul-08 Strawberry 1 There were three or four others that I would have picked had it not been for wildlife getting to them first.
29-Jul-08 Green Beans 15 The Tendergreen Beans all look very healthy and there are more on the way.
29-Jul-08 Cherry Tomatoes 6 There are lots of cherry tomatoes growing, I was able to pick the first six ripe ones.
29-Jul-08 Lettuce 2 heads I chopped two heads at the base since I did not want to have them continue to grow - I get lettuce every week from my CSA so I don't really need to grow more.
5-Aug-08 Cucumber 1 I think I may have pulled this cucumber too late as it was bigger than I think it should be. I guess the taste of it will tell me.
5-Aug-08 Green Beans 8
5-Aug-08 Cherry Tomatoes 12
