LaundryThis is a featured page

Laundry is made of washing and drying offering us two places where we can 'go green'. In terms of washing the tips include washing in cold water, and using the shortest cycle possible depending on how dirty the clothes are. There is also the idea of stretching the time between washing of some items so that fewer loads of laundry are needed. Using cold water and the shortest cycle saves on both electricity, hot water heating and water consumption.

In terms of drying, hanging your clothes to dry rather than using a dryer is the way to go. Recently I bought the CordoClip and have installed it, you can see the photos below. Using a clothesline as much as possible, or hanging your clothes to dry indoors is a great way to save on energy as clothes dryers are hogs of energy in the house.
